Wilfried Zaha might not have played in this fixture. The Crystal Palace forward had exercised his right to appeal an extra one-match suspension incurred for sarcastically applauding the referee after his dismissal at Southampton last month and, with the hearing scheduled for next week, he had been permitted to appear here.
