Stoke have agreed a fee of £2.5million with Sheffield United for striker James Beattie, who could sign in time to face Liverpool on Saturday.Tony Pulis stressed a desire to get his transfer business done as quickly as possible this month and he got off to a good start earlier this week when he ended his long search for a left winger with the capture of Matthew Etherington from West Ham.
