The 23-year-old was hurt against Manchester City on 1 March and had keyhole surgery in Italy today.West Ham confirmed last night that the former Lazio player "is expected to be out for six months". The club added that he was due back in London next week to begin his rehabilitation.Behrami, who moved to Upton Park last summer, has been a virtual ever-present in West Ham's first team. The game against City was the Switzerland international's 27th appearance of the campaign but he will be out until the early stages of next season.
